At Best Friends Farm, we believe in the transformative power of connecting with animals. Our rescued animals provide a safe and nurturing environment where children can grow, build confidence, and heal through meaningful interactions. We are a 501(c)3 charity and all donations are tax deductible.

"Volunteering at Best Friends Farm is always the highlight of my week. Every Tuesday I get to spend time feeding, brushing, and tidying up for the many friendly animals who have found a safe home at this sanctuary. While I come to help the animals, my shift is always a restorative break in my week, something I benefit just as much from. The sanctuary is serene and beautiful and Cecilia and Robert, the founders, are kind and welcoming. The work is both rewarding and fun. "Farm Camp is a core memory for our family. The kids talk about their experiences all year and are eager to return the next year. Their experiences on the farm are unique and truly provide an opportunity to connect with nature and animals in a way we cannot replicate at home. Our favorite post-camp activity is to go through the beautiful pictures as our kids tell us about all the fun things they did. Our extended family even joins us!"

Our kids have been attending the summer camp for many summers, and each year of this camp experience brings new discoveries, new insights, more interest in nature and animals, and more practice at being part of a community that cares. We plan our summer calendar around the dates that the camp is offered. My kids know many of the animals by name and we check on them throughout the year. It's really special to have an opportunity to have real-world experience interacting with and caring for these precious animals that are cared for so tenderly."
